Free admission tickets for veterans, active duty military, children under 5 are also available at the Welcome Desk upon arrival to the museum.
To demonstrate veteran or active duty status, you will be asked to show a Veteran ID, Military ID, DD214 or Driver’s License that notes Military status upon arrival.
Separate ticketing is required for special events or alternate museum pricing on special event days. Please check our events calendar for ticketed events.

The museum offers guided tours of the Architecture at 11 a.m. and Core Exhibitions at 1 p.m. daily.

Large print copies of the NVMM Map and Visitor Guide are available at the Welcome Desk.
All museum entrances are ADA accessible. Entries on each floor are accessible by ramp, including the Rooftop Sanctuary. Elevator access is available to all three floors.
Visitors using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility devices may find the Group Entry easiest to navigate. This entrance is flat and does not require the use of a ramp. Visitors utilizing this entrance will enter on the Museum’s lower level and will need to check-in at the Welcome Desk.
Wheelchairs are complimentary and are available at the Welcome Desk.
Our museum is currently working with industry leaders to ensure our space is inclusive, accommodating, and welcoming at all times. Visitors should take note that videos and audio recordings are used throughout exhibitions. Lighting levels are relatively low, to create a respectful atmosphere for reflection, as well as to preserve our artifacts. Strobe lights are not part of our standing exhibitions.
Visitors park in the museum parking lot; use the entrance on Bell Street. Please take your parking ticket with you and have it validated at the Welcome Desk inside the museum. Parking fees are credit card only and collected as you exit. The museum is not responsible for any lost or damaged items in the parking lot.
