The Wall That Heals

May 28 – May 31, 2021

Join us at the museum to experience The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., that honors the men and women who gave their lives in Vietnam or later died as a result of their service. This traveling exhibit spans 375 feet in length and rises to seven and one-half feet tall at its apex. The Wall’s 140 panels contain the names of more than 58,000 service members.

The Wall’s trailer converts to a Mobile Education Center onsite. The exterior features a timeline of “The War and The Wall” and provides additional information about the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Additional exhibits provide visitors a better understanding of the legacy of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the collection of items that have been left at the wall. The Wall That Heals will be open on the museum grounds 24 hours a day, free of charge to allow time for all to experience, learn, reflect and heal. All appropriate COVID protocols will be in place to create a safe environment for all of our guests. Please note there may be a $5 parking charge depending on events at the museum.

Remember. Honor. Heal.
