In recognition of Purple Heart Day on Saturday, August 6, we are hosting The Buckeye Purple Heart Foundation’s Annual 5K Run/Walk. This special day honors all of our nation’s brave servicemen and women who were killed or wounded in action. With a unique start time of 7:30 p.m., participants will experience the trail and skyline of Columbus lit up in purple. All participants will receive a T-shirt and commemorative coin.

This external event is organized by the Buckeye Purple Heart Foundation and Buckeye Chapter 500 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
