This Presidents Day, join us at the Museum and connect with the stories of Presidents who served for a Washington ($1). Learn more about their unique stories and discover the experiences of our Veteran Presidents when you visit.

NVMM Yoga

Sundays | 9 a.m. | Free

Each week, certified yoga teachers lead each class through basic poses to advanced movements to help you find your inner peace of body and mind.

We maintain a welcoming and safe learning environment for all levels of experience, whether you have never taken a yoga class or you are an advanced student. Veterans and civilians alike are invited to participate and connect.

NVMM Jiu Jitsu

Multiple Days | 6:30 a.m. & 9 a.m. | Free

The art of Jiu Jitsu helps build confidence and provides real-world tools to help conquer the challenges participants face each day.

We believe in having a welcoming and safe learning environment for all levels of experience; beginners to advanced individuals are welcome.

Presidents who served in the Military

Do you know how many presidents served in the military? If you guessed 31, you’re correct! Military Times shares, “Even though military service is not a prerequisite to becoming president, members of the military develop significant leadership expertise during the time they train and serve.” 

National Women Physicians Day

A special day to celebrate female physicians in medicine. Meet Lt. Gen. Nadja West, U.S. Army (Retired), the U.S. Army’s 44th Surgeon General. She was also the highest-ranking woman to have graduated from the United States Military Academy, the first black female major general in Army Medicine and the first Army black female lieutenant general. Connect with her story.

International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Join us in celebrating all women and girls who lead innovation through science. Let’s work together to remove the barriers that hold them back.

Coast Guard Reserves Birthday

The U.S. Coast Guard Reserve was established with the passage of the Coast Guard Reserve and Auxiliary Act. The Coast Guard depends on the Reserve force to mobilize with critical competencies in boat operations, contingency planning and response, expeditionary warfare, marine safety, port security, law enforcement and mission support. We honor the more than 7,000 reservists who stand always ready!

Join Boston’s Cares in Supporting our Veterans and the NVMM

This February, dine at Boston’s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar in the Columbus Arena District to show your love for our nation’s Veterans and support the museum that honors them and shares their stories with the world. Ways to get involved:

  • Purchase a Valentine in-store for a $1.00 donation in support of the NVMM.
  • Boston’s will donate $5 from every heart-shaped pizza purchase to the NVMM from Feb. 10-14.
  • Dine at Boston’s and scan their exclusive QR code to thank a Veteran and receive two free tickets to the Museum.
