Commemorate Veterans Day with an inspiring online ceremony at 10 a.m. (ET) live on Facebook and YouTube with special messages and remarks from Montel Williams, U.S. Navy Veteran and Emmy-Winning Talk Show Host, Bruce Thorn, U.S. Army Veteran and President and CEO of Big Lots, Inc.; and our President and CEO, Lt. General Michael Ferriter, U.S. Army (Retired). National Veterans Memorial and Museum 5-Mile, 5K & 1-Mile Run/Walk
Join us November 1-22 for the NVMM Veterans Day Virtual Run/Walk. This family-friendly event features options to run or walk 1 mile, 5K or 10K in honor of our nation’s Veterans. Complete your run or walk safely on your own and share on social media to honor the commitment of America’s heroes. Register before October 18 to receive your event T-shirt to proudly wear during your run or walk on Veterans Day.

Together we will honor, preserve and share every Veteran’s story. Join in the National Veterans Memorial and Museum’s 2020 Veterans Day commemoration by sharing who you will be celebrating this year. You can honor a friend or family member who served, or all those who have served our country. Throughout Veterans Day week from November 9-15, we will celebrate the Veterans and stories submitted to us by you on our social media channels. Please submit all stories and names by November 7.
