Women’s Only Jiu Jitsu Open Mat
Join us at the Museum for our Women’s Only Jiu Jitsu Open Mat class with Officer Traci Shaw. This class is open to all women interested in participating in a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class that focuses on self-defense and preparedness.
Officer Traci Shaw has been with the Columbus, Ohio Division of Police since 1999. Officer Shaw has worked in the Columbus Division of Police Patrol Bureau as a Field Training Officer and is currently a Basic Training Officer at The Columbus Police Academy. In addition, she is a member of the Columbus Police Honor Guard, Peer Assistance Team and Defensive Tactics Unit. Officer Shaw has testified in federal and state courts and is recognized as a use of force expert in her field. Her brother, Corporal Nathan Anderson was killed in the Battle of Fallujah in 2004.
