Home for the Holidays has a new meaning this year. Here at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, we see it as a connection between what we are experiencing with COVID-19 and what service members and their families experience every year. We wish a happy and healthy holiday at home to everyone, wherever that may be. We invite our audience to engage with the Veterans in their lives by working together with their families (both at home and from afar via video chat) to make this holiday season more meaningful and to keep the spirit of togetherness intact.

Use the hashtag #NVMMHolidays to participate and share the ways you’re staying connected to loved ones during this holiday season.

The weekly videos and blog entries will include:

  • December 2: Wartime Recipes
  • December 9: Deployment and Letters to Veterans
  • December 16: So Ready For Laughter at Home
  • December 23: Create an Ornament
Christmas Tree
