November 2024 at the Museum

November is a great time to visit the National Veterans Memorial and Museum.

November at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum offers a lineup of events honoring Veterans. The celebrations begin with $5 admission from November 8-10 for the U.S. Marine Corps birthday, alongside a Vets Town Hall on November 8 where Veterans are invited to share their service experiences. On Saturday, November 9, families can take part in WOSU’s Daniel Tiger’s Be My Neighbor Day, engaging in service-learning activities, while a special painting workshop, in partnership with The Patriot Art Foundation, invites 25 Veterans to participate.

The action continues Sunday, November 10, with an intense CrossFit Hero Workout, “CHAD,” honoring U.S. Navy Senior Chief Chad Wilkinson, followed by the MilVets Veterans Day Rally featuring entertainment, food, and Veteran-focused vendors. The events culminate on Monday, November 11, with the Veterans Day National Ceremony, where Ohio State University President and former Navy leader Ted Carter will deliver the keynote address. This weekend of activities provides meaningful ways to celebrate and connect with those who have served.
