Syd Solomon Opening Night, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m.
Join us for the opening night of Syd Solomon: Concealed and Revealed, honoring the legacy of a WWII hero and groundbreaking abstract expressionist. Immerse yourself in Solomon’s vibrant works, shaped by his military service and ingenuity in camouflage design, and gain exclusive insights from the artist’s estate about powerful connections between art, courage, and innovation.

Celebrate Presidents’ Day at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum (NVMM)! Join us for a fun-filled day of interactive activities, including trivia challenges, a Presidential Scavenger Hunt, and a special appearance by a George Washington portrayer – all for just $5 admission.
This is a great way to honor our nation’s history and learn more about our nation’s leaders in a hands-on, engaging environment. Don’t miss out on this exciting event for the whole family!

Honor Vietnam War Veteran Major James Capers Jr, USMC (Ret.), at this special event hosted by the Museum. Hear from Major Capers in a live interview, enjoy a comedy set by nationally renowned actor and comedian Donnell Rawlings and listen to musical interludes by Grammy-Award winning DJ Babey Drew.
