Congratulations to our President and CEO, Lieutenant General Michael Ferriter on being inducted into the U.S. Army Ranger Hall of Fame!

Formed in 1992, the Ranger Hall of Fame serves the exclusive purpose of honoring and preserving the contributions of America’s most extraordinary Rangers. Those charged with administering the Ranger Hall of Fame take particular care to ensure that only the most extraordinary Rangers are inducted, a difficult mission given the high caliber of all nominees.

Some of Lt. General Ferriter’s highlights include:

  • Ferriter served 35 years in the U.S. Army commanding soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines and international forces at every level.
  • Commissioned in 1979 as a second lieutenant, he participated in numerous overseas operations including Operation Restore Hope in Somalia, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn in Iraq.
  • Through his strategic leadership, he successfully cut costs and achieved a savings of nearly $3 billion by transforming the way business was conducted and services delivered as a U.S. Army Commanding General.
  • After a successful career with the U.S. Army as an operational leader, Ferriter continued his commitment to serve by establishing the Ferriter Group, LLC, a consulting firm that focuses on improving organizations, leaders and teams.
  • Ferriter now serves as the President and CEO of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. He took a conceptual idea and helped create a nationally renowned place to Honor, Inspire, Connect and Educate our nation’s Veterans. Under his continued leadership and guidance, the Museum and its stories are continuing to grow each year.
