Honor a Veteran. Dedicate a Flag. Share Their Story.

This Veterans Day, you can be part of something powerful at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. With a gift of $20 or more, you will dedicate a flag that will proudly fly on our Museum’s lawn as a visible tribute to the courage and service of America’s Veterans.

Every flag represents gratitude. It might be for a loved one who served with honor, or for all those, past and present, who stood in defense of our nation. When you dedicate a flag, you help ensure that the stories of Veterans are preserved, celebrated, and shared with future generations.

Thanks to the generosity of The Flag Lady USA, a proud Columbus family business and one of the nation’s leading independent flag dealers, each flag on our lawn is a reminder of service, sacrifice, and community.

The names of those being honored with a Veterans Day Flag will be displayed on our website through December 19, 2025, so that their legacy shines far beyond this single day of remembrance.

Together, we can honor all Veterans, elevate their stories, and amplify the power of service for everyone, everywhere. Will you join us?

Every service members story is important: record the story of your service or the service of a loved one on our StoryCorps page and keep your story with us and in the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress!
