“Remembered Light” Opening Night Reception
Join us for the highly anticipated opening night of our new exhibition, Remembered Light: Glass Fragments from World War II. This extraordinary collection features twenty-five unique art pieces created with stained glass shards salvaged from war-ravaged European cathedrals, synagogues, and chapels during World War II.
The National Veterans Memorial and Museum is the last stop for Remembered Light before it is installed permanently at the Presidio Interfaith Center in San Francisco, California.
Experience a night of reflection and artistic brilliance as we honor the past and its connection to the present. Be among the first to witness these striking pieces created by 13 different artists and gain a deeper understanding of history through the observances of Chaplain McDonald and the artists who brought his vision to life.
