80th Anniversary of The Battle of the Bulge Event

Join us for a special event marking the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge that was fought from December 16, 1944 – January 25, 1945. This immersive experience features re-enactors portraying soldiers from the Allied and German armies and European civilians, bringing to life the intense combat and daily realities of winter wartime. This event provides a vivid, personal connection to World War II history where visitors of all ages can:

  • Interact with re-enactors and experts in period uniforms

  • Touch and try on authentic uniforms and handle WWII weapons and equipment

  • Grab a passport book and get a stamp for various experiences

  • Learn more about larger context of the Battle of the Bulge

  • Gain insight into the experiences of local populations affected by the conflict

  • Explore our temporary exhibition, Remembered Light: Glass Fragments from World War II, before it leaves the museum

Special admission price: $8 (As always, Veterans, Gold Star Family members and Active-Duty Military are free.)
