Free Library Days
As a community partner of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, we’re celebrating their 150th anniversary by offering free admission to the Museum when you show your library card.
On Saturday, August 5 between 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. interact with historical reenactors in the Great Hall! In honor of the 125th anniversary of the Spanish-American War, reenactors will be in uniforms of the period (1898) along with military equipment to represent what was used at the time. There will also be reenactors from the World War II era allowing visitors to compare the difference in technology, style, and military strategy between the wars. This is a tactile event and visitors are encouraged to talk to the reenactors and handle the equipment under the supervision of the reenactors and NVMM staff.
